1. Snip the hard tips off the asparagus stalks and put the rest of the stalks in a bowl. Cover with boiling water and let them stand for 10 minutes. Drain and allow to cool.
2. Drizzle the olive oil over the asparagus and season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
3. Wrap slice of ham around 2-3 asparagus stalks. Repeat until you’ve used all the asparagus and ham.
